Ali Sheikholeslami is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada. His current research is in the areas of integrated circuits for wireline communication and for optimization. He currently serves at the Education Chair for the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and the Vice President, Education, for the Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS). He writes a regular column in the SSCS Magazine titled "Circuit Intuitions".​
