organizer and chair
Ali Sheikholeslami (University of Toronto, CA)
Ali Sheikholeslami is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada. His current research is in the areas of integrated circuits for wireline communication and for optimization. He currently serves at the Education Chair for the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and the Vice President, Education, for the Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS). He writes a regular column in the SSCS Magazine titled "Circuit Intuitions".
abstract
Circuit Insights is a full-day educational event geared towards the 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate students, starting graduate students, and new electronics engineers in industry who are interested in circuit design. This year’s Circuit Insights consists of three fundamental talks on circuit design (each one hour long including an interactive Q&A) and four talks from industry showcasing the role of circuit design in engineering applications. The event will have a panel discussion at the end with all the speakers to summarize the lessons learned.
